I met up with this fun family of 4 at the Greensboro Historical Museum to do some outdoor shots around the Francis McNairy House and gardens. It was a chilly day, but little Charlie warmed up to me as we pondered where the “magic key” was to open all the old wooden doors on the out-buildings. Sweet little Rachel was all smiles the entire session and showed off her crawling-to-standing maneuvers (she was SO close to walking). One of my favorite things about this session was how “dad” could get Charlie to do faces on demand – he would yell out “silly face” then “sad face” and Charlie would quickly change his expression to fit each emotion. Talk about a kid with personality! Between the silly faces and randomly serenading us with song, I could totally see him growing up to either be an actor or a rock star! Later we scooted down to South Elm for a change of scenery and to see the train go by. I had lots of fun shooting around my city with them and I’m so grateful they held on so long in the cold to allow me to get some sweet shots of their family.
