I’m so excited to introduce y’all to one of BVP’s Class of 2013 Senior Ambassadors for the New Bern area, Zulay. A real social butterfly, Zulay is so fun to be around, has a great personality and a beautiful contagious smile. She was really excited about having the chance to represent The Epiphany School as a BVP Senior Ambassador, and I think that she is a perfect fit for the Senior Ambassador Program. She’s a great role model for other teens in her community participating in community service, helping annually with the National Day of Prayer, and generally lending a hand as a teacher & event photographer at her church. At school she played softball her sophomore year, was active in the Spanish club and has helped out with the yearbook since her sophomore year. Early on in her interview I was excited to find out that she is so into art, design and photography. Zulay is especially interested in graphic design and is excited to be the Yearbook Editor this year. Her mother & father both played a part in making her senior session special and it is obvious that she truly has the support of a sweet loving family. We shot at a few different locations around downtown New Bern for her ItGirl senior session – starting at Union Point Park, then we headed to Trent River Coffee Company for a few indoor shots and some in the parking lot (we just had to get in a few shots with her father’s cool work van) and ended the session down by the railroad tracks near the river. To be honest, shooting a session with Zulay and her mother was less like work and more like hanging out with old friends. Zulay, thanks for the laughs and I truly hope you treasure your senior portraits!
