I had the recent pleasure of doing a session with this wonderful family of 3 around New Bern. “Mom” contacted me after picking up a BVP flier at the Cow Cafe and we met up for a windy, but fun, evening session. Luckily the rain held out for the entire session and the overcast clouds made for a sweet soft box in the sky with gorgeous natural light. Although, I have a feeling that Little A would be pretty darn cute no matter what kind of light we had! We started the session at Lawson Creek Park where we had fun playing with his John Deere tractor toys, flying a kite and playing peek-a-boo around some trees on Jack’s Island. And, then we headed over to downtown New Bern for a variety of spots to shoot at (and some fun with bubbles!). I am especially honored that they took the time to do a portrait session with me while “Dad” was home for a brief time after serving in Afghanistan for the past year. I’m so thrilled that they gave me a ring and we were able to connect to capture some great memories!
